Questions
What is Just Homepages?
A way to make and host your own one-page website. Pick a template and write it your way, or describe what you do and we’ll draft it for you. Every word is yours to change, and your page lives on its own address.
What do I get for £10 / €12 / $12?
One year of your page on its own address (yourname.justhome.page), 100 changes by asking (another 100 are £10 / €12 / $12 if you ever need them), changes by hand that don’t count against those, and every template to choose from. Want your own domain, with email at it? +£10 / €12 / $12. That’s everything — no tiers. No ads — just one small line at the foot of your page.
Is it really one page?
Yes. One page, in sections — what you do, prices or opening times, pictures, how to reach you — which is what most small businesses, clubs and people need. It is not for shops with baskets, blogs or sites with many pages.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Keep your domain wherever it’s registered and add one record; we do the rest, including the security certificate. It’s +£10 / €12 / $12 a year and includes email forwarding at your domain. Your justhome.page address can keep working too, or send visitors to your domain — your choice.
How do I edit it?
Two ways: ask for a change in plain English (“make the opening times bigger”), or click any part of the page and change the words yourself in Markdown. Every change can be undone.
Can I change the template later?
Yes, as often as you like, for free. There are 167 templates, from plain and modern to a 1970s green screen; changing the template keeps every word you wrote.
Can I upload my own photos?
Yes. Upload your own pictures (you confirm you have the right to use them), or choose from our library of photographs that are free for anyone to use.
Will my page be found on Google?
It is listed for search engines automatically, unless you switch that off in Page settings, but new pages take days to weeks to appear in search. The fastest route is to put your address where people already look: your Google Business Profile, your social bios and your email signature. We make no promises about ranking.
Does my page use cookies or track visitors?
No — Your page is a single file of ordinary HTML. No scripts from anyone else, no cookies, no trackers — nothing to update and nothing to break. The only form a page can carry sends to Just Homepages, and we verify the sender by email before anything reaches the owner. It works in any browser for as long as the web exists, and you can download it and take it anywhere. Your page also carries one small block of data describing it for search engines — data, not a script; browsers never run it.
Is my page secure?
It is a plain HTML file served over HTTPS from a content delivery network. There is no database, login or plugin on your page, so there is nothing on the page itself to break into or to keep updated.
What happens if Just Homepages closes?
Your page is ordinary HTML that doesn’t depend on us, and you can download it from Page settings at any time. If we ever close, we will tell every customer at least 90 days before.
Can I download my page?
Yes. Page settings has a download button that gives you the page and its pictures as a zip; it opens in any browser and can be put on any web host.
How do I get support?
Write to us: the email address and a message form are at the foot of this page. It reaches us directly.
Who is behind it?
Just Homepages is made by Forbes Ventures Ltd, a UK venture studio with more than 20 projects in its portfolio, which also turns ageing systems into resilient, modern ones for other companies.
Is there a free trial?
You can try before you sign up: start your page from a template or by describing it, change it as much as you like, and see it finished, all without paying. You only pay when you want it live on its own address.
What is it not good for?
Online shops with a basket and checkout, blogs, members’ areas, and sites with many pages. For those, a full site builder or a developer is the better choice.
How do refunds work?
You can have a full refund within 14 days of any payment, for any reason. Ask through Billing in your account, or write to us.
Who writes my page?
You do. If you start from a template, every word is yours. If you describe your page, a computer model writes the first draft and any change you ask for; you check it and change anything you like, and nothing goes live until you say so.
Where are the photos from?
Our library holds photographs that are in the public domain or released for anyone to use (CC0), each with its source recorded. You can also upload your own, confirming you have the rights to them.
Why no JavaScript on my page?
Your page is a single file of ordinary HTML. No scripts from anyone else, no cookies, no trackers — nothing to update and nothing to break. The only form a page can carry sends to Just Homepages, and we verify the sender by email before anything reaches the owner. It works in any browser for as long as the web exists, and you can download it and take it anywhere. Some pages carry one small script of our own — for gentle motion, or a button that copies your phone number — never one from anyone else, and the page reads the same without it.
How do visitors contact me?
Your page can show your email or phone, a form, or both. A form sends only once the visitor confirms their email address by clicking a link, so spam doesn’t reach you; each message comes to your email and to Messages & responses in your account.
