Pictures and copyright

Your pictures
Before your first upload we ask you to confirm that your pictures are your own, or that you have permission to use them on your page. We keep a record of when you confirmed it. Only upload pictures you have the right to use.
Our photo library
The photographs in our library are in the public domain or released under CC0, so anyone may use them; we record each one’s source and licence. We use them to set a mood on a page, never to stand in for your own premises, products, work or people.
If a picture is yours
Use “Report this site” at the foot of the page, choose “This picture belongs to someone else”, pick the picture and, if you can, link to the original. We look at every report.
What we do
If the report holds up, we take the picture off the page — everywhere it appears — republish the page without it and tell the page’s owner why. Three pictures removed this way suspends the page.
If you think we got it wrong
The page’s owner can reply to our email, or write to abuse@justhomepages.com, with the reason the picture is theirs to use (for example, the photographer’s permission). We will look again and put it back if we were wrong.
